Get to know us

Having started as a husband and wife business in 2013 with passion and drive to improve the education system, connecting people through food with practical projects and skills to improve their lives.

We evolved naturally into community development and wellbeing (mental fitness) projects after sharing my personal lived experience and journey through TedX Cardiff and my life to date working in care, social research and many years training to be a doctor.

Our ability to connect with people through our passion, values, awareness and skills along with a wider workforce found us moving around the community engagement space at events and shows and became a regular feature at the Royal Welsh Show, adding value to the visitors experience.

It was noted that we were connecting with a wide range of ages and across hard to reach communities and individuals so we started working with clients in specialist areas such as teaching, working with those living with autism, disengaged youth, ex offenders, communities tackling poverty and mental fitness challenges. After a lot of success and learning we were recognised in the social prescribing and third sector support and worked with agencies to setup and mentor projects.

We still are very hands on running practical projects, always innovating and learning to help clients solve bigger challenges and from time to time we dip in to support other organisations to meet their challenges and evolve their services and skills.

We care about the people we work with and their story, we believe through better connections we can all make a positive difference every day.

Sam leads a busy life running his own social enterprise EggSeeds alongside mentoring and supporting other third sector organisations and community groups, with the dreams of reconnecting the community with food, enhancing the education system to utilise outdoor education to raise core standards and to inspire the community one day at a time to have the confidence to make the difference in their lives and for those around them. Having been recognised over the last decade for his contributions to environmental volunteering, mental fitness, innovation, inspiration to youth and adult learners and community development Sam has picked up and shared in an array of awards.
